Don’t the Laburnum Trees look absolutely magnifient? I would have loved to have seen them in the flesh. I need to borrow one of Dr Who’s Tardis’ from Light Works!!
Have you come across any colour photos anywhere of the Laburnum Trees?
Hello Chris, I’m glad you like them. Yes the trees were really effective. Regarding your question, I am concentrating my efforts mainly on the artwork at the moment, so I have not been right through the photographs but I think there may be some colour pictures.I will let you know! I have always thought those trees have influenced several later designs, such as Tropicana.( See catalogue entry 1960 -2007 road section views-C1D1.) Do you agree?
